Every number on this site comes from one of three places: the streaming services themselves, our daily sync, or our prediction engine.
Confirmed departure dates are sourced from the Watchmode API, which aggregates availability data across every major streaming service in the United States. We sync this data daily and cross-check it against direct announcements from the services when they're available.
“Leaving soon” on this site means an explicit departure date supplied by the streaming service — not a guess or a prediction.
The full catalog refreshes once a day. Time-sensitive pages (“leaving this week”, individual title pages with departure dates within 7 days) revalidate on a tighter cadence and re-render the moment a new departure is detected.
The Wait or Watch verdict is our estimate of when a film will become free on a streaming service. It's computed from the studio that released the film, that studio's historical pattern of release windows to specific streamers, and any real-world signals we've observed (first-seen rental dates, price drops, official streaming announcements).
Every prediction carries a confidence level. Predictions can be wrong; we publish them as estimates, not promises.
They're not insider information, leaks, or affiliate-driven recommendations. We have no relationship with the studios or streaming services. We don't know what will be on Netflix next month any more than you do — we just have a more disciplined way of guessing.
